90 Day Pause? What Are We Doing?

Is anyone curious about what Trump is doing with these tariffs? What's up with this 90 day pause on the reciprocal tariffs? According to CNN news, “with the exception of China, a stunning reversal from a president who had insisted historically high tariffs were here to stay”. So sad to hear that the enormous tariffs will remain on China, which is also the second-largest economy. 

CNN news article states “Trump said they will be increased to 125% from 104% after China announced additional retaliatory tariffs against the United States”. 

So he says all this then does a 90 day pause? He definitely knew what he was doing here. Do you guys agree? Looks like Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent does. He states “ the pause was part of “his strategy all along.” But he also said that Trump had “great courage to stay the course until this moment.” Reading into this more it seems this may have been a last minute plan of Trumps? That may just be my opinion but trump said this plan came together in the morning and turns out some people didnt even know this pause was in effect until it was announced!
