National guard on over drive?
Share
I'm sure you guys have heard about the national guard being brought into the raids by Trump “to curb protests against federal immigration raids that occurred in and around the city in recent days.” During the protest tear gas and pepper spray were thrown and deployed according to NPR reporters who were at the scene. In response to the spat of the immigration sweeps in Los Angeles last week law enforcement and the demonstrators of the protest clashed. In response the white house said that trump would “2,000 National Guard members to California”.
“Diana Crofts-Pelayo, deputy director of communications for Gov. Gavin Newsom, told NPR by email Sunday morning that around 300 California National Guard troops had arrived in Los Angeles. And "Defense Secretary Pete Hegsethsaid in a post on X that active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton are on high alert and would also be mobilized "if violence continues."”. As all of this is going on we truly wish for the wellbeing and safety of all these people who have been taken in.
Well guys thanks for reading and come back for more news on this subject soon.
